What is the best way to fish for trout in a river in northern Georgia?

I've been fishing since I could walk (mostly water salt), but I've never been before trout fishing in a mountain stream. From what I hear, trout fishing is very difficult and requires great skill and patience. I'll be fishing on the Toccoa River in northern Georgia. What kind of equipment I use and what kind of bait? Lures? Worms? Flies? How should I fish them? What tactics should I use? I will use a light spinning rod and I have chest waders too. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I'm going to Toccoa for the entire season with my husband. My husband grew up in that river. He uses the rooster tails and catch on the left and right. bar turning light is the best so do not worry about that. Does not take much. Hook themselves! Hope this helped have fun!

Fishing Tackle Advice

Regardless of if it is for a livelihood, or for a pastime, fly fishing has been a core activity of man's existence for thousands of years. The best style of fishing that evolved for relaxation is freshwater fly fishing. saltwater fly fishing needs a different fishing reel and casting motion so as to act as insects skipping on the surface of the surf to catch the attention of the fish. Fly fishing rods & reels make the correct motions practicable.

A good way to get started, it's Advisable to emphasize just how & why fly fishing reels deviate from classic designs. This saltwater fly fishing reel doesn't hold the fishing line firm until eventually a bass is on the line. The fishing reels permit a great deal of loose line that will would make the freshwater fly fishing pattern a possibility. Regular fishing reels are cast into the bay and squat while saltwater fly fishing requires skill and regular movements.
