While wondering if anyone thinks any of these baits work for catching small fish and bait fish while casting from the beach or walking in Hilton Head. buzzbait line spinners spinners rubber worm tubes Rapalas This small teaspoons can be a bad idea, but what are your thoughts. I fish these baits mostly with just a turn signal bar. However, was also contemplating launching a buzzbait or large screw in my surf rod and just after its release starting out there. buzzbait – never bothered to test them in salt water, so I do not know. could work well. Spinners – Spinners under work in salt water. I lost a big bet in this case. (That crazy bastard reached 26 "halibut with its bass cone!) Spinners Online – stripers could being caught with large inline. Also caught with mackerel, but mackerel bite anything when hungry. They are not as effective in salt water. tubes – after spinners I found under sea water might work, gave me an opportunity tubes. In fact it has worked well in some species. rubber worms – yes, they work fine in some species. I learned this by accident. I ran out of lures and they were the only lures available at the time I arrived, so I threw a rope and landed about 20 fish of approximately 1.5 hours. Rapalas small – yes, no problem with them. small spoons – yes, no problem with those as well. By the way, I do not know how well the lure of work in South Carolina. I only know the lures worked in the ocean in southern California.
